경부선 석수역서 승용차·열차 충돌…운전자는 브레이크 미작동 주장

12월 1일 오전 6시 46분경 경부선 금천구청역~석수역 구간에서 열차-객차 충돌사고가 발생했다.

승용차가 선로방호벽을 뚫고 서동탄행 열차를 들이받은 것으로 알려졌다.

이 사고로 승용차 운전자와 승객 2명이 가벼운 부상을 입어 병원으로 이송됐다. 

오전 7시35분께 열차 승객 300여명이 금천구청역으로 환승했다.

고속열차 8편, 일반열차 9편, 전기열차 20편이 10~40분 정도 지연되는 등 열차 운행이 크게 중단됐다. 

코레일은 열차 승객 중 부상자는 없는 것으로 확인했으며 경찰이 사고 원인을 조사하고 있다고 밝혔다.

경찰에 따르면 운전자는 브레이크 고장으로 인해 사고가 발생했다고 주장했으며 추가 조사가 진행 중이다.

At around 6:46 a.m. on December 1, a train-passenger car collision occurred between Geumcheon-gu Office Station and Seoksu Station on the Gyeongbu Line. It is reported that the car broke through the track protection wall and hit a train bound for Seodongtan.

 

In this accident, the driver and two passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. At 7:35 a.m., about 300 train passengers transferred to Geumcheon-gu Office Station.

 

Train operations were greatly disrupted, with 8 high-speed trains, 9 regular trains, and 20 electric trains being delayed by 10 to 40 minutes.

KORAIL confirmed that no train passengers were injured and that police were investigating the cause of the accident. According to police, the driver claimed the accident was caused by brake failure and further investigation is underway.
